Dr. Tim Ellison lives in the hills of Brown County in the Hoosier National Forest, spending time each day walking in the forest with his canine friends, taking pictures of flowers and picking wild mushrooms. At night it is said they swim across the lake looking at the stars.
He also spends time writing, reading, and working on his homestead which includes a garden, fruit trees, catfish pond, forest, and natural prairie.
He is presently installing a 4.5 kW PV array on his homestead.
Dr. Ellison constults with select solar energy start-ups and V.C.s.
Before retiring, Dr. Ellison spent 15 years leading groups designing and building particle accelerator technology for high energy and fundamental nuclear physics research at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory and as the Beam Dynamics Group Leader at the Indiana University Cyclotron Facility.
Shifting from accelerators to thin film PV, in 1994 Dr. Ellison joined Stan Ovshinsky at ECD in Michigan where he worked in technology scale-up, invented real-time diagnostics for production, and led the NREL PV Manufacturing R&D Program until retiring in early 2008.
He has never owned a T.V.
Would love to see some pics to compliment this.
